Angel Eyes" is a 1946 popular song composed by Matt Dennis, with lyrics by Earl Brent. It was featured in the 1953 film Jennifer.

This song is a story of a man going from bar to bar, looking for his wife, knowing of her infidelities. Feeling his marriage is a joke, but still in love, he offers the people at each bar a drink because the laugh's on him, then excuses himself to continue his search for his number one gal.

Because of its colorful harmonic changes, "Angel Eyes" is a very popular jazz standard which has inspired many original interpretations. Several performers have recorded different versions of the song and some use the same arrangement with their unique voice.
